Size and Care Guide

Loops & Paws plushies come in six sizes, from Small (up to 10 cm) to Extra-Large (up to 35 cm). Every plushie is hand-crocheted in England in soft chenille or chunky blanket yarn, so sizes can vary by about a centimetre. To keep it looking its best, hand wash in cool water and dry flat.

 

Plushie sizes

• Small: up to 10 cm. Ziggy the Zombie, Frankie the Monster, Hamish the Highland Cow, Clover the Cow and Luke the Lamb. Custom plushies from £10.

• Small-Medium: up to 15 cm. Tilly the Fluffy Turtle (about 14 cm) and Aubrey the Aubergine (about 15 cm). Custom plushies £15.

• Medium: up to 20 cm. Tommy the Sea Turtle and Baby Chard (about 20 cm). Custom plushies £18.

• Medium-Large: up to 25 cm. Beca the Bunny (about 22 cm), Pepper the Pup and Strawbasaur (about 24 cm). Custom plushies £26.

• Large: up to 30 cm. Custom plushies £32.

• Extra-Large: up to 35 cm. Custom plushies £42.

How to wash a crochet plushie

• Hand wash in cool water with a little mild soap.

• Squeeze out the water gently. Never wring or twist.

• Reshape the plushie and lay it flat to dry.

• Do not machine wash or tumble dry, as this can damage the stitching and shape.

• For fluffy yarn such as Feels Like Bliss, brush the surface gently with your hand once dry to fluff it up again.

 

Materials and safety

Our plushies are crocheted with super-soft chenille yarns (Feels Like Bliss, Dolce and Parfait Chunky) and chunky blanket yarn, and filled with hypoallergenic polyester stuffing. Ready-made plushies have lock-in safety eyes and are recommended for ages 3 and up. For a baby or a child under 3, order a custom plushie and we will make it with embroidered eyes and no small parts.
