Strawbasaur is a handmade crochet dinosaur plushie by Loops & Paws, hand-crocheted in England by Andrea. Strawbasaur is a chunky teal dino with dark green spots and rosy cheeks, carrying a big pink strawberry with white seeds and lime-green leaves on its back. It is about 24 cm long and costs £30.

Strawbasaur is big, chunky and incredibly huggable. The speckled strawberry and ruffled leaves are crocheted separately and stitched on by hand, and the dark green spots give it a playful, garden-grown look.

Frequently asked questions

How big is Strawbasaur? Strawbasaur is about 24 cm long, which is our Medium-Large size (up to 25 cm). Every plushie is crocheted by hand, so sizes can vary by a centimetre or so.

Why is it called Strawbasaur? Because the big pink bulb on its back looks just like a strawberry, complete with white seeds and a ruffle of lime-green leaves. Strawbasaur is our strawberry-loving dinosaur.

Is Strawbasaur safe for babies and toddlers? Strawbasaur has lock-in safety eyes, so we recommend it for ages 3 and up. For a baby or a child under 3, order a custom crochet plushie and we will make it with embroidered eyes and no small parts.

When will my plushie arrive? Ready-made plushies are dispatched within 3–5 working days by tracked post. UK delivery is £2.99, or free on orders over £50. We currently deliver to UK addresses only.
